System Prompt
Control translation style, formatting, and terminology with a system prompt.
MinTranslate sends your System Prompt as the system message for every translation request.
What it affects
- Output tone (formal / casual)
- Whether Markdown formatting is preserved
- Terminology rules (glossary)
- Whether the model adds explanations (you usually want to forbid this)
Default prompt (in this project)
你是一个翻译引擎。
你会将用户输入的文本从指定语言翻译成目标语言。
要求：
1) 只输出译文，不要解释，不要加引号，不要添加额外内容。
2) 保留原文的换行与格式。Ready-to-copy templates

- Keep prompts short and avoid contradictions — the more “rule-like” they are, the more stable output tends to be.
- If the model still adds explanations or quotes, repeat “Output translation only”, “No quotes”, and “No extra content”.
